The challenge was finding a visual language that felt genuinely playful rather than performatively so — movement and colour doing the work that words can't.

The result was a campaign built around bold motion and character, designed to hold attention in a landscape where young audiences have more choices than ever.

CBBC needed a campaign that could cut through to a young audience without losing the energy and irreverence the channel is built on. The brief was bold by nature — CBBC doesn't do quiet — and the work had to match that.Working directly within BBC Creative, I led the project as Design Director, responsible for both the design and animation from brief to delivery.
